Best Restaurants in Disney World

Food

Years of visiting Disney World has allowed me to discover the best restaurants in every park. The following post will discuss my favorite quick service and table service dining options. Whether it is the amazing food or the great view, each of these restaurants has something unique and wonderful to offer. As the parks begin to open, this is the perfect time to start making your Disney dining reservations!

Magic Kingdom:

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant– Table Service

Tony’s restaurant is a beautiful restaurant located on Main Street. Complete with Italian cuisine, this restaurant gives you the same experience that Lady and the Tramp had in the iconic spaghetti scene. Whether you get the garlic knots or the truffle ravioli, Tony’s is sure to give you a great meal. However, what makes this a stand out restaurant, is the fact it is right on the parade route. This is the perfect place to eat while you watch the parades go by. I recommend making your reservations in accordance with a parade that you would like to see and remember to request patio seating.

Be Our Guest Restaurant– Table Service

The Be Our Guest restaurant is located in the Beauty and the Beast castle in Fantasyland. The french cuisine pays homage to the classic movie. I recommend the french onion soup and the center cut a fillet. For dessert try the grey stuff, it actually is quite delicious! Although the food is good, the main draw is the ambiance. Within the restaurant, you can choose to be seated in three rooms, the Ballroom, the Rose Gallery, and the West Wing. Each lets you dive into the world of Belle and Beast. My personal favorite is the Rose Gallery which is a beautiful room that is quieter than the main dining room. Kids can meet the Beast, while adults can enjoy a glass of wine.

Animal Kingdom:

Eight Spoon Café– Quick Service

Animal Kingdom’s Eight Spoon Café is a quick-service restaurant in Discovery Island. It’s bright blue walls set it apart from the Animal Kingdom’s lush Green foliage. The Eight Spoon Café is the perfect place to grab an afternoon snack. They have the most delicious government mac and cheese with many different choices of toppings; pulled pork, truffle, lobster, etc. The food never fails to be delicious and it is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in WDW.

Yak & Yeti Restaurant– Table Service

This Nepalese-style restaurant is a great place to go if you are looking for table service. This restaurant serves Asian cuisine. Although sometimes it is worth it to go just for the air conditioning, the restaurant has one of my favorite burgers in all of Disney World. If burgers aren’t your thing, their traditional food items are just as good. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Thai Crab Cakes are great options.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

The Hollywood Brown Derby– Table Service

The Hollywood Brown Derby is Disney signature dining located on Hollywood Boulevard next to the Tower of Terror. It is a great place to stop to guess the celebrity caricatures on the walls and for a cobb salad. The American cuisine fits perfectly with the old-time Hollywood decor. The Brown Derby offers a special experience package where they couple dinner and special VIP seating for Fantasmic. The many options make this a great restaurant for everyone.

ABC Commissary– Quick Service

This Art deco themed restaurant is complete with movie and TV posters from your favorite ABC family shows. It is fun to guess the theme songs they play from the older sitcoms. This is a great restaurant for kids as there are so many great options. There is outdoor seating that is a nice alternative to the cafeteria-style interior. ABC Commissary is a great place to have a lighter lunch as they make really good salads and have healthier options for children. I highly recommend the Mediterranian salad.

Epcot:

La Cellier– Table Service

The best restaurant in Epcot has the best food out of any of the Disney world park restaurants, and La Cellier is my absolute favorite. The cellar style restaurant is located in Canada and has a candlelit atmosphere. You honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but you would be remiss if you didn’t order Le Cellier’s Signature Poutine or the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup. This order is one that I dream about while I’m not in the parks. Because this restaurant is such a favorite of Disney fans, it is important to book this one early. The restaurant is a must-try while in Disney World.

Tangierine Café– Quick Service

The Tangierine Café is located in the Morocco Pavilion of the world showcase. This restaurant serves authentic Moroccan cuisine. The interior is decorated with colorful tiles which makes you feel as if you have been transported to Morocco. The Shawarma Chicken and hummus are great. If you want to grab something on the way out of the park, this restaurant also has incredible take out food. Finish your meal with their baklava, and you won’t be disappointed.

*Because the food at Epcot is so incredible and I couldn’t just choose two, so I will give a few shoutouts. First, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, a quick service french bakery, is a great place to grab some decadent French pastries. C’est vraiment délicieux! The Yorkshire County Fish Shop has some of the best fish and chips that you can find on this side of the pond. And finally, Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria has wonderful wood-fired pizza. If you are there during the arts festival check out this post!

I hope you a magical dining experience!
